ABSTRACT 

The purpose of this study is to examine Jos, the Plateau State capital, has remind the same for over a century. The study set out to assist the case of ethnic groups, specially the Broom, Anaguta, and Afizere and Hausa/Fulani, laying claim to pre-eminence over one another. The chapter one deals with the background to the study down to the definition of terms, chapter two deal  with  the  conceptual/theoretical  framework,  this  chapter  present conceptual  issue  about  the  different,  chapter  three  deals  with  research methodology,  chapter  four  deals  with  data  presentation  and  analysis, chapter  five  also  deals  with  the  summary,  suggestion,  recommendation and conclusion.
